Ways to imporve literacy in primary schools

Literacy in primary schools should be improved and the government must provide funds for this task. In order to have a bright future the education of the young children must be in high quality. The preparation level of the teachers is really important and every year new methods of teaching are implemented. Teachers should be ready for this changes and annual training must be mandatory. Improving the school libraries is a good way to start. Primary school students like to read books with pictures so their reading will be done in a fun manner. For example, literacy KS2 students do not really understand the value of education so teachers need some good ways of encouraging them to do well in school. This is not an easy task and it requires a lot of effort and time. In addition, parents also play major role in child’s early education so the parent meetings should be done frequently.
